Un Temporary Concept Food Store che mette in mostra attraverso dei rivoluzionari format sperimentali inventati dal noto Food Designer Paolo Barichella nuovi modelli di fruibilità del Food nell'epoca contemporanea. Test&Taste non è un ristorante perché non ha sedie e tavoli, non è un bar perché non ha un bancone; è una mostra partecipativa legata ai nuovi format food contemporanei; è un percorso autogestito, in cui termini come self-made e cucina efficace diventano il cuore dell'attività. Ma andiamo con ordine: solcata la porta a vetri che si affaccia su via Bogino, proprio di fianco al Circolo dei Lettori, vi sarà dato il benvenuto proponendovi un welcome-kit e una card precaricata, grazie a questi strumenti potrete iniziare il vostro percorso enogastronomico dove sono banditi i piatti e dove tutto è stato studiato per offrire il massimo comfort, eliminando i pesi inutili quando stiamo consumando cibo in eventi in piedi. Salendo al secondo piano si accede alla sala dedicata alla Cucina Efficace che consiste in una rivoluzionaria modalità di preparazione dei cibi in conformità alle esigenze della vita moderna. Terminata la degustazione si può ridiscendere al piano terreno per provare l'ebbrezza di crearsi il proprio dolce (grazie a pratici squeezer pronti all'uso, risposti in un frigo accessibile) e il caffè 'come tu lo vuoi' nel Coffee Design Store. Intimoriti dalla complessità del percorso? In realtà, alla prima esperienza potrebbe risultare arduo comprendere i meccanismi di fruizione, ma tra i due piani di Test&Taste sono sempre presenti dei 'mentor' pronti a consigliare ed istruire. Anche in questo caso si rivoluziona il classico concetto di cameriere: qui ogni gastronauta segue i propri tempi di produzione cucinando in un momento di relax, senza obblighi o pressioni. E poi servendosi, degustando e imparando. Tanto più che nella sala superiore, durante il pomeriggio, si terranno i corsi di food innovation aperti a tutti. Ci piace stimolare, istruire, incuriosire – spiega Paolo Barichella – Questo spazio deve essere un emblematico prototipo di food design, secondo un modello attento alla qualità, alla sostenibilità e alla ricerca. Le stesse aziende alimentari posso qui trovare l'occasione per dare mostra di nuovi prodotti o sistemi di distribuzione. Per finire, vicino all'uscita, è stato predisposto uno store, una sorta di bookshop al termine di una mostra, dove trovare tutti gli strumenti di food design utilizzati all'interno del locale e gli ingredienti per fare experience a casa».
